Your MATRIX VISION Team
Your individual Gigabit Ethernet camera
We have developed our new Gigabit Ethernet camera mvBlueCOUGAR-X just as you liked it. In spite of its many features, it still fits in to a small and robust housing measuring only 39.8 x 39.8 x 35 mm (W x H x L). However, what does individual mean? The camera's real bonus is its flexible FPGA. In the base version the FPGA comes with following features:
Real-time flatfield correction
Micro-PLC real-time sequenzer for I/O and acquisition control
Enhanced I/O functionality
User settings
Hardware LUT
Time stamp
Customer-writable register (dongle function)
With the enhanced model, which contains a larger FPGA, you can add features later or choose the ones you need when you order. For example (partial list):
RGB-to-YUV conversion (internal color processing)
White balance (one-time / continuously)
Color correction matrix (loadable)
Time stamp for enhanced inter camera synchronization
etc.
Prepared for a hot summer
A further innovative feature is the embedded temperature sensor. With this sensor it is possible to extend the temperature range to 55°C by using a fan, which can be controlled by the camera. For harsh operational environments the camera can be ordered as an optional IP65 version.
Further features: Counter-Timer PWM and Direct-Drive 24V/700mA output
The mvBlueCOUGAR cameras can generate a PWM signal with a Counter-Timer mechanism and provide it at the digital output, for example, to control a lens. Additionally, the GigE camera offers Direct-Drive outputs each with 24V/700mA for a direct flash operation of high-power LED's.
Also available as OEM model without housing
Called mvBlueCOUGAR-XM and with the same individuality, the camera is also available as an OEM camera without housing but with the same functionality.
You are looking for a high-quality, cost-effective and flexible OEM camera?
You've found it!
MATRIX VISION's single-board innovation is called mvBlueFOX-MLC. Single-board does not mean that the USB 2.0 camera has less features compared to models with housing. Far from it! The camera shines with following features (partial list):
S-mount optionally C- or CS-mount (not included)
8 Mbyte image memory (no image tearing)
Board-to-Board or conventional with wiring cable
Ultra flat installation
Multitude of I/O possibilities (1/1 opto-isolated or 2/2 TTL compliant)
Latest sensor technology (CMOS, Wide VGA, 90 Hz)
HDR mode (High Dynamic Range, 110 dB)
Micro-PLC real-time sequenzer for I/O and acquisition control
etc.
As well as drivers for Linux and Windows, the camera also completely supports DirectShow, NeuroCheck, Halcon, and LabView as well as further, third-party software products and, of course, the MATRIX VISION image processing library mvIMPACT.
Attractive price of 195 EUR
Despite this feature richness the mvBlueFOX-MLC USB 2.0 single-board camera is available at an attractive price of 195 EUR. (unit price excl. VAT, terms and conditions apply)
