New design for USB3 Vision camera mvBlueFOX3-2 with IMX174 by Sony
The key features of the sensor are:

Up to 162 images per second
Available as board-level version

Higher frame rates of 41 images per second
Thanks to a firmware update the mvBlueCOUGAR-X104f with the new IMX249 CMOS global shutter sensor by Sony reaches a frame rate of 41 images per second at full resolution. The new IMX249 sensor is a member of the IMX sensor family by Sony which are well-known for their image quality comparable to that of CCD sensors, which makes the sensors suitable for a multitude of applications.
Action Commands for GigE Vision cameras available
Using Action Commands, as specified in the GigE Vision standards, it is possible to trigger different actions on several devices. Action commands can be unicasted or broadcasted by applications. They can be used
to trigger several devices at roughly the same time,
to increment or reset counters, or
to reset timers
We have extended the manual of the mvBlueCOUGAR-X/-XD with a new chapter.
Wizard for motorized lenses
mvBlueCOUGAR-XD offers the possibility to control motorized lenses. Outdoor applications such as traffic monitoring, security, or sports need to control image brightness. To make this easier we added the GenICam Control "mvLensControl" to mvIMPACT Acquire and for this reason this control is available for third-party software. Furthermore, we added a wizard to wxPropView. A description is available in the manual of mvBlueCOUGAR-X/-XD.

Our website offers RSS feeds for

RSS feeds are XML files containing website changes. You can subscribe to them and you will be informed automatically as soon as there are any changes. RSS feed readers are available as add-ons for any browser. Most e-mail clients support RSS feeds as an additional account too. A list of all available RSS feeds is available on our website.
Generating log files
Our products generate log files which we need to speed up a support case. Since driver version 2.11.9 we have improved the help section of wxPropView on Windows systems. As soon as you click on "help" in the menu, you will have several possibilities for log files: You can
directly open the logs folder, you can
create a zip file with all the logs, and you can
open the system's default email client to send an email to support@matrix-vision.com.
