The survey we carried out last year about our customers' media use has shown that the online area continues to advance and is increasingly displacing the print area—internationally even more so than in German-speaking Europe. Primarily social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Xing and Instagram are expanding their popularity as sources of information in the B2B world—whether visitors are looking for information about the company (potential applicants and others for whom the company's image is important) or about its products.
Going forward, in addition to the newsletter, we will provide you with timely information on LinkedIn (international) and Xing (German-speaking Europe) about our current product developments, trade show visits, etc. In addition, we have opened a German Facebook channel that we will use to give visitors a glimpse behind the scenes of MATRIX VISION. mvIMPACT-CS appeared in the version 2.5
The new version of our mvIMPACT Configuration Studio Smart Vision software features numerous optimizations. In the "Check blobs" tool, the user is supported by a wizard and a new interactive histogram.
In the "Find object" tool, the edges of the taught-in model are overlaid on the matching regions. The tool now also works with images that have already been rotated, making two successive "Find object" tools possible. The graphic feedback has also been improved to provide better tolerance analysis.
Additional optimizations have also been made with regard to the inputs and outputs, the "Setup camera", "Read code", "Receive data", etc. For the complete summary of the changes and innovations, refer to the mvIMPACT-CS Release 2.5 text file. The new software version is now available for mvBlueGEMINI and as a PC version.
Partner program for system integrators
We have always been focused on developing and manufacturing powerful and innovative camera components. However, Industry 4.0 is one of the factors resulting in continuous increase in demand for complete image processing solutions. Despite this, we cannot meet this demand with our strategic orientation.
For this reason, we have launched a partner program for system integrators. Our trained and certified system integrators offer turnkey complete solutions for customized image processing applications in a variety of industries.
The online page launched in August and has already had a great response.
Application & Customer Engineering (ACE team) has moved
Others call it support - our ACE team can do even more. However, our team's reachability was limited in July. This was due to the move from Talstraße 16 to the new facility at Murrwiesenstraße 18 and thus closer to the Development and more square footage for laboratory setups, etc. This way, the team was able to adapt its setup to its task and can thus provide faster, more effective and simply better support.
