We offer the redesign as an additional revision parallel to the current products. It was important for us to ensure compatibility with the current products.

Container virtualization using Docker

mvIMPACT Acquire is Docker compatible
Whether used as a virtualized development environment or as an easily scalable application in a cloud, container virtualizations using Docker are very popular because they run independently of the operating system via a Docker engine and therefore require little memory. The low memory requirements also allow them to be used on embedded systems. Another advantage is that applications within the container can be isolated not only from each other, but also from their underlying system.
We have also implemented our mvIMPACT Acquire drivers in such a way that you have full access to our cameras in a Docker container. We have documented how to do this in our manuals.

Sensor overview and lens suggestions
We have updated the website in two places.
On the one hand there is now the camera selector there is now a subpage for the respective sensors with additional information such as spectral characteristics and EMVA1288 measurement protocols. The sensor subpage also shows in which cameras the respective sensor is available. As we regularly add new sensors to the portfolio, this new view is helpful for many who have specific sensors in mind.
On the other hand, we have updated the Lens Calculator enhanced. Once a calculation is triggered, two buttons appear at the bottom of the calculator that lead to either matching S-mount or C-mount lenses. On the opened pages, the filters are then preassigned accordingly. Due to the preassignment, the visitor can still do something himself and adjust the result table, if desired.
