How-to videos make it easier to get started
Together with our product manager Fabian Furtner we have created a series of short explanatory videos, which introduce the 3D stereo camera BVS 3D-RV1 and show its advantages.
Also the integration of the camera into third party software like HALCON is shown in one video.
In total, the series consists of four videos. Have fun watching.

Firmware Update 2.53
Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) with Gen4 Pregius sensors from Sony
mvBlueCOUGAR-X / -XD cameras with Sony Gen4 sensors can now be used for Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV). PIV is an optical method to determine the direction and velocity of particle motion based on two temporally staggered images. For this purpose, the sensor feature Short Interval Shutter which allows the acquisition of two images in a very short time (>2 µs).
Events for temperature range transitions
The transitions between the partially adjustable temperature ranges can now be controlled via the new GenICam events DeviceTemperatureStateNormal / OutOfRange / OverTemperature can be monitored. In addition, the current range can be monitored via the readonly property mvDeviceTemperatureState can be checked directly.
ActionCommands as further trigger source in the SequencerControl
The ActionCommands are next to the ExposureEnd, CounterEnd and UserOutput signals as additional SequencerTriggerSource in the SequencerControl available.
