The main task of the mvDeviceConfigure tool is to update the firmware of MATRIX VISION devices and to configure the log outputs of the mvIMPACT Acquire driver stack. In addition, the tool has other functions:
It lists all devices in the system that have a matching mvIMPACT Acquire driver installed.
It can control device registration in conjunction with DirectShow applications (Windows only).
It can enable and disable CPU sleep states (up to Windows 7 only).
It can assign unique IDs to mvBlueFOX-1xx/mvBlueFOX-2xx devices.
It can reserve system wide DMA memory for mvHYPERION frame grabbers.
