With their compact dimensions and various optional configurations, the mvBlueCOUGAR-X GigE family covers the majority of conceivable application areas. The camera features a variety of smart features such as flat field correction, color correction, white balance etc. which can be performed directly on the camera to unburden the host system. The 64MB image memory ensures lossless image transfer and is also used as a buffer, for example in recording mode, which stores images in the camera and outputs them as needed. The camera is compatible with GenICam and GigE Vision. Drivers include Windows and Linux. The camera also supports image processing libraries from third parties which are compatible with GigE Vision.
