Several frame grabbers with mvAcquireControl

mvAcquireControl, mvDELTA, mvGAMMA-G, mvSIGMA-SLC, mvSIGMA-SLG, mvSIGMA-SQ, mvTITAN-C16, mvTITAN-C8, mvTITAN-CL, mvTITAN-DIG, mvTITAN-G1, mvTITAN-RGB/G4, pcIMAGE-SC, pcIMAGE-SDIG, pcIMAGE-SG/SGVS, pcIMAGE-SRGB

If there are only Frame Grabbers installed with different type or which have not the same DMA Controller it is enough to choose the wanted Frame Grabber type in the mvAcquireControl. The driver searches for the right Frame Grabber on the PCI Bus and opens it.

If there are two or more Frame Grabbers installed with the same type or which have the same DMA Controller it is needed to do a selection to open the right one.
The mvAcquireControl uses configurations in the Registry to store all settings.
These configurations can be created edited and chosen by the programm mvConfig. A seperate INI-File can be assigned to each of these configurations. There must be a command for defining which frame grabber has to be opened in each assigned INI-File. This command is usually "SelBoard". For more information about choosing a frame grabber.
Now you can mark the configuration in mvConfig for the frame grabber you want to open and press "Start" to open the mvAcquireControl dialog box and the board.
In general you can open more than one frame grabber at the same time. But the display module of the mvAcquireControl can only display images from one frame grabber simultaneously.

Note to the programs mvIMPACT Go!, mvIMPACT S and mvIMPACT SDK:
These programs and the library uses the mvAcquireConrtol and the configuration "Default" by default.
Impact SDK allows to use multiple boards by defining the configuration name when opening the device:
i.e. DEV_Open("MatrixVision.ddc|Color"); or DEV_Open("MatrixVision.ddc|Default");
