Setting up COM ports for mouse use

Mouse is connected to COM port 0 (9 pin D-Sub jack on backside of mvBlueLYNX):
Device name is ttyS0.

The following lines in file /etc/pgserver.conf must be like this:
...
input = serialmouse
...
[input-serialmouse]
device = /dev/ttyS0
...

The same settings must be done in file /flash/tools/pgsstart:
...
INPUT="-i serialmouse"
INPUTDEV="--input-serialmouse.device=/dev/ttyS0"
...

If your mouse doesn"t react on COM port 0 though all the upper settings were done please check additionally the settings.

 

Mouse is connected to COM port 1 (e.g. via I/O-Box):
Device name is ttyS1.

The following lines in file /etc/pgserver.conf must be like this:
...
input = serialmouse
...
[input-serialmouse]
device = /dev/ttyS1
...

The same settings must be done in file /flash/tools/pgsstart:
...
INPUT="-i serialmouse"
INPUTDEV="--input-serialmouse.device=/dev/ttyS1"
...
