If the mvXCell-8i is configured running as standalone or preprocessor mode, where can I get the source code of the Linux on it?
In theory, any 64-bit PowerPC Linux with an up-to-date kernel will work but at the moment, we recommend using Fedora Core Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Yellow Dog Enterprise Linux (YDEL). Depending on the level of support you need you can choose which distribution you use. For RHEL and YDEL you can buy a yearly subscription. Fedora provides support via online forums for free. The source for the Linux you choose to use is available from these suppliers.
