The mvBlueLYNX-X is the next generation of the successful MATRIX VISION intelligent camera product line. The CPU core is based on the state-of-the-art ARM technology with up to 1 GHz target clock and image processing acceleration by DSP coprocessor for parallel handling of multiple pixels. The system is ideally suited for the classical areas of machine vision, the large processing power and high-end display and graphics capability as well as the wide range of different interfaces make it perfect for many other application areas:

If your camera has access to the Internet the easiest way to keep your mvBlueLYNX-X up-to-date is to use the built-in package management system: just use opkg update and then opkg upgrade (see manual). The packages are listed here and, as an alternative, can be downloaded with a web browser: ARM V7 Base Packages, BLX Packages, no-arch Packages

DVD ISO for FW1.6 (January 2014):
Use this to create a bootable DVD that contains the complete development system for mvBlueLYNX-X (based on Ubuntu). The LiveDVD can be used to install the development system on a PC or within a virtual machine. Please see the Technical Manual for details.
Toolchain (cross compiler) + mvIMPACT-Acquire SDK (2.5.19) for mvBlueLYNX-X (Jan 2014).
Now includes QT SDK.
Please download the file "BLX_Recovery_Card.tar.gz" and unpack it on a Linux system using the following command:
tar xzf BLX_Recovery_Card.tar.gz
Afterwards, follow these steps:
- Prepare the microSD card (instructions see README_Recovery.txt).
- Copy the image files to the partitions of the microSD card.
- Recover the internal microSD card with the created microSD card (instructions see README_Recovery_usage.txt).
