The USB 2.0 cameras are used as the vision component for robosoccer. That means, a computer acquires a pitch with the camera and calculates the situation, the next actions and operates via radio communication the single robot players. The camera requirements are:

  • fail-safe
  • high image quality
  • safe and high data transfer
